The installation should not be unmanned when it is in
operation. |

personnel should be permitted to enter into the Yard |

Maintain a
“Visitor log” book and make entries whenever visitor enters the
installation |

Do not ever smoke inside the installation. |

Do not allow match boxes, Gas Lighters, open flames, hot
metals, items and non flame proof electrical equipment / appliances, Cellular
phones, Pagers inside the installation. |
 |
Avoid all sources of ignition like dry grass/bushes/ leaves,
Rubbing of ferrous metals or Iron tools, Spark from electrical equipment
etc. |
 |
Do
not carry out hot work like welding, heating etc. within the
Installation. |
 |
Do not carry
out any unloading operation between Sunsrise & Sunset, Heavy rains, Thunder
storms, Lighting etc. |
 |
In
case of any leakage, please call up emergency telephone number for help. Fire
fighting water pump, water sprinklers and hydrants should be kept operational
and fire extinguishers should be kept close to the affected area. |
 |
Do
not touch liquid gas with bare hands which may cause cold burns. Always
use proper hand gloves while handling gas. |
 |
Always
secure proper earthing connections to the mobile tanker before
unloading operation. |
 |
Do not ever
use damaged / leaky hoses while unloading the tanker, after unloading operation,
the hoses must be depressurised prior to
disconnecting from the tanker. |
 |

Always
tighten all fasteners of the gas unloading hoses fully to the mobile
tanker, replace gasket whenever unloading of tanker takes
place. |

Vent out the air carefully & slowly
from the hoses by purging gas into the atmosphere before unloading
starts. |

Do
not overfill the gas storage tank beyond the maximum filling limit of
85%. |
 |
Do not allow
the gas decanting compressor / pump to run dry. |
 |
The
driver of the mobile tanker must remain in attendance and close to the tanker
during unloading operation. |
 |
Do not
operate any electrical switch in case of leakage. |
 |
Do not walk
on pipelines/ valves/ fittings etc. |
 |
Care
should be taken when draining water (present if any ) from storage tank in order
to prevent escape of gas. |
 |
Maintain
a log book for keeping records of each and every activity within the
installation. |
 |
Drain
valves, bleeder valves, pipelines in the system to which are
directly open to atmosphere should not be kept open unless care is taken to
prevent escape of products and a operator is present physically to oversee the
operation. |
